Make Everyday Matter
Aging in America volunteers are exceptional people who offer their time, talent and energy in many different ways, and contribute to the ongoing success of Aging in America’s mission of compassionate care for our residents. Many of our volunteers work closely with residents, taking care of those details that make everyday matter.
For example, our volunteers sit with residents, deliver and read mail to them, write letters for residents, or provide companionship. They are also a vital part of resident and family events, such as birthday parties, special events, and holiday celebrations. We also welcome volunteers who can provide office assistance to Aging in America’s various departments.
All of these services and special touches the volunteers provide improve the quality of life for our residents and make everyday matter. Volunteer opportunities are available at Aging in America seven days a week. Those interested in volunteering should contact the Volunteer office at (718) 409-8289, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to arrange a meeting.
