Here you will find a list of the various activities scheduled for each location of Aging in America. Click on the program title below to find out what activities are scheduled for the next several weeks. Please note that some activity days and times may be changed due to weather conditions, staffing, etc. Therefore, you may want to contact the program office if you plan to attend an event and want to make sure it is still taking place.

Recurring Events

Film Program Mondays and Fridays at AIA

On Mondays and Fridays at Aging in America, the seniors of Pelham Parkway Center, at
1500 Pelham Parkway, (corner of Eastchester Road), present films for both members and
neighborhood seniors. The admission fee is $1.00 for visitors and is free for senior center
members who pay a once yearly membership fee of $25.00.   

Visit the Neighborhood Treasure Shop at the Senior Center

The public is invited to visit the shop and browse among the clothing and bric-a-brac donated by senior members and local community residents. It is open Monday thru Friday, from 10 AM to 2 P.M.

3rd Annual Community Health Promotion Day! "Benefits of Whole-Person Wellness (Body, Soul & Mind). Catch the Experience! Monday, June 14, 2010 at 9 AM until 3 PM. Personal Blood Pressure Screening, Medication Management, Body Mass Index and Foot Review. Presentations on Nutrition, Healthy Heart, Basic Health Awareness and Falls Prevention. Join us for special giveaways and many more surprises. This program is funded in part by Aging in America Community Services, Inc. through the New York City Department for the Aging and Councilman Larry B. Seabrook - Healthy Aging Fund.
